Flea Market Finds
Every time I visit flea markets and thrift stores I keep looking for all possible things that I could use as props in my doll photography. Here are some of my recent finds - cute metal additions for the dolly kitchen.
I especially love the copper tea pot. It's my second one in the collection.

Narae's New Look
Sweet Narae has a new wig. She's decided to be blonde for a while. What do you think? ;)
I think she looks great with lighter hair, as it brings out her grey eyes.
And she also has a new dress, knitted by talented Junipa.

It's very warm and cosy, just perfect for Finnish winter. :)
Narae will show you more of her knitted outfits very soon. Stay tuned! ;)

New Tonner Girl: Sydney
Yesterday my doll family got a new member. I bought this girl several weeks ago and she finally made her way to Finland. Sydney has always been one of my favorite Tonner molds, but for some weird reason I've never had it, up until now. :)
Here she is, my Ready-to-Wear Sensational Sydney from 2003. She has beautiful strawberry blonde hair and darling brown eyes.

Winter
Narae decided to test her new winter boots in snow. It was freezing outside.
She looks so cute in those booties. Unfortunately the pompoms broke off during the transportation, but I fixed them back in place with my good-old glue gun. :)
The sweater-dress is knitted by me. I must admit I'm not very good at knitting for dolls, but I think this one turned out pretty well. :)
And a close-up of my pretty girl. I'm still not quite happy with the wig, but it fits way better once the wig cap arrived.
Stay warm! ;)

Meet Narae
I would like to introduce Narae - my first bjd doll. You must have seen her in my previous post. :)
She is created by Korean artist Bimong. I am not her first owner, as I adopted her from Joanne, who is a very kind doll loving lady from the UK.
I think we were meant to be. I've always admired Narae dolls, but I never thought she would be my first BJD. Luckily, I found her on the web and Joanne kindly let me adopt her. I couldn't be any happier! Thank you, Joanne!
I've decided to keep her original name, as it's so pretty and suits her very well. By the way, Narae means "wing" in Korea. So romantic!
Here are some snaps from our first photoshoot. She's still in search for her look. Enjoy!
I am so happy! It's like Christmas all over again! She's so charming and beautiful! I can't stop looking at her! I think it's definitely love...
More sweet-sweet pictures coming soon! ;)
xo,
Box opening. My girl is here!
It was a magic day, when my girl finally arrived. There she is, in the biggest box on the table.
Everybody is interested...

And here she is!
Isn't she a beauty?
Sitting on the table.
Standing up for the first time.
Then the girl got a bit tired and went to dream in the box.
More photoes coming soon...
Thank you for sharing my exciting moment! ;)
