Little Miss Bird on Etsy: now open

This weekend I finally opened my new Etsy store for all kinds of doll pretties.
You can find it here - LittleMissBird

Now I have filled it with my crochet hats and a bit of jewelry, and more pieces are coming very soon.

I will also be selling my Tonttu hats for Blythe there from now on.
They are made from beautiful Finnish wool in variety of colors. The design inspiration comes from Finnish fairytales. Each hat is a bit different due to the handmade nature and two of them are never the same. I think they are just a perfect gift to make your little elves happy.

Miss Little Mouse

I've been down with terrible flu for several days now. Yuk! To keep myself busy I've been knitting and crocheting some funny outfits for my Blythe. Here is one of them - a hat and a little cape in soft gray mohair. I added a vintage button from my stash for some nice sparkle.
What do you think of my little mouse? :)

And what do you like to do while being ill?

Tiny crochet dresses and a shoe shelf

I haven't made anything for my smallest doll family members in a long time, so I decided to fix that unfair situation. :)

Here are two cute little dresses that I crocheted with sewing thread. Sounds crazy, right? But I do like all sorts of really small things. :)

Another dress

I also made a shoes shelf for the dollhouse. Here Yuki is showing the size of the shelf and also bragging about her shoe collection.

Finished some things

And here is the shelf in the bedroom.

Bedroom update

I still have a lot of things to do before the room is entirely ready.

Stay tuned! ;)

New dolly necklace - Lakshmi

I've been beading whole day and I'd like to share the result with you.

Tiny bead embroidered necklace with jadeite and agate cabs, Czech seed beads, gold filled findings and Italian leather backing. The size of the piece is around 4 x 7 cm and the thickness is only 3.8 mm.

Hope you enjoy it! ;)

Doing a little sewing

I'm currently on a mission to start using sewing machine, when making doll clothes. I am used to hand sewing, but I think I can get a nicer finishing with a machine.
Here is the first dress that I made and I am very proud of it, as it even has lining. :)) Yay! I know it's fairly simple, but I just needed to start somewhere. :)

Sewing...

I've been doing a little sewing here. A picture straight from the working table/dining room table. lol (really hope that my workroom renovation is ready soon!)

Amalia

I made a simple dress and a necklace for Amalia. I am in love with the print on this fabric. I know I am not a great seamstress, but I'm trying to learn and improve my terrible skills. :)

And couple of more pictures of my gorgeous Amalia in her new outfit.

I am working on some other outfits right now. Hope I can share more pictures with you very soon. Stay tuned! ;)
